Coalburn to Douglas 10k Active Travel Path
Active Travel Path connecting Coalburn to Douglas
With this good weather, great progress has been made on the Douglas to Poneil section of the 10k Active Travel Path in last few days. The route through Long Plantation, which was a boggy path flooded track, is now really taking shape.
Geordie and his team at McLaren Plant deserve huge credit for cracking on with this.
Their hard work is really paying off with the Coalburn to Poneil section more or less complete. Not quite there yet, but that finishing line is definitely starting to come into view!
