Alexander Hamilton Memorial Park, AKA Stonehouse Park

Historic park with magnificent views

Alexander Hamilton Memorial Park, AKA Stonehouse Park, is a multi levelled park with an extensive pathway network leading to all levels. It includes a historic bandstand area, 3 childrens play areas and an outdoor gym, picnic areas, multi use games area and a rugby pitch. Seating is available throughout the park which offers stunning views over the River Avon and valley.

Access may be limited due to this site being on various levels. It is directly accessible at the top and bottom with steep paths linking each level.

Friends of Stonehouse Park organise events to encourage more people to use the park, and to raise funds to improve the facilities on offer. Annual events include an Easter Egg Hunt, summer fun day, Gruffalo wood walk, Duck Race, Halloween Fright Night & Snowman trail. Find out more via their Facebook page.
