Forest Plan Drop-ins Scheduled at Chatelherault Country Park
A Forest Plan is being developed to guide the management of the woods at Chatelherault Country Park over the next 20 years.
These woodlands are well known, attracting many thousands of people every year and include some of the best remaining ancient woodlands in central Scotland. As such the views, concerns or wishes of the public are sought to help inform the Forest Plan.
To enable this we are holding three drop-in sessions at Chatelherault Country Park Visitor Centre where you will be able to view maps of the woods, discuss the future management of the woods with staff and leave comments. The sessions will be held on:
Wednesday 18 March 1-4pm, and 7-9pm
Sunday 22 March 1-4pm
If you're unable to attend any of these events there is an opportunity to leave comments in writing at the visitor centre reception.
