Wild Time Forest School is BACK for the new school term!

Wild Time Forest School runs in 6 week blocks – and now runs in 2 locations in South Lanarkshire!

Starting:

Thursday 24th August 2017 - 3.45-5.45pm - Birkwood Estate, Lesmahagow

Both are suitable Children in P1 up to and including S1

At Forest School we encourage and inspire individuals to enjoy the opportunities offered by natural play.

Forest School has demonstrated success with children of all ages who visit local woodlands on a regular basis. Through play and self-directed learning in the natural environment, children have the opportunity to learn how to manage risks and most importantly how to use their own initiative to solve problems, communicate and co-operate with others.

At ' Wild Time' children will have the opportunity to try things such as building dens, making tree swings, play and exploring the river (weather dependent), climbing trees, trying out our famous mudslide, making bows and arrows, building and lighting a fire, toasting marshmallows……. and much more.

All of our Forest School groups are run by Level 3 Forest School Leaders who are Outdoor First Aid qualified - All staff and volunteers have had PVG checks.

Places are limited to ensure all children gain the maximum benefit from their Forest School Experience.

Although we run in 6 weeks blocks - these are for ease of payment - Many children continue throughout the year.
This is recommend for maximum benefit.

At the end of this 6 week block, priority for ongoing booking will be given to those who already attend.

Cost per 6 week block is £42 per child - which is only £7 per session.
