Event's Address:

The Clyde and Avon Valley Landscape Partnership are seeking Memory Bank volunteers to become involved in oral history recording projects.  We would like to record people's memories of work and play in the valleys as a vital social history of the area and are looking for volunteers to get involved.

Oral history recording equipment has been purchased and can be made available for community projects.  We are offering a free training session (delivered by Local Voices) for anyone interested in getting involved in the project.  The day will cover using the memory bank kit, planning and ethics, conducting interviews and keeping fieldwork records.  For full details, download the workshop plan.

Places on the training course are limited - if you are interested in volunteering to get involved in the project, please contact us on 01555 663430 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
