The Gig in the Grounds is a music and history festival for all of the family. It features live music performances from a range of different genres, including the bagpipe and tribal drum group Clanadonia. Also, throughout the day there will be re-enctments, kids entertainment, food and refreshments and a beer tent for the adults.

The event is hosted by Douglas Dale - a group set up to enable the progression of recreation, environmental, access, and leisure facilities in the Douglas Valley.
