Scottish Wildlife Trust Falls of Clyde, Dye Works, New Lanark Road, Lanark ML11 9DBJoin us at Falls of Clyde, New Lanark, on Saturday 18th March 2017 for a fun, free and informative day all about badgers! Learn about badgers and how they live, the threats they face and how to spot their field signs when you're out & about. We'll have a morning session in the Clyde Room beside the Scottish Wildlife Trust Visitor Centre followed by an afternoon in the reserve looking for setts & signs.
Things to note: Booking is essential as places are limited. Suitable for complete beginners but those with some badger knowledge will also be very welcome. Tea/coffee/biscuits will be provided on the day but please bring a packed lunch or make use of the on-site cafe (leave room for cake!). As part of the event will be outdoors, please come dressed for the changeable Scottish weather. Please wear stout footwear and be aware that some of the outdoor session will be on uneven ground and slopes. This course is not suitable for children but do keep an eye on our Facebook Page as we have lots planned for young cubs too!
