Lesmahagow Woodland Walk - Trail sheets can be found on Facebook!

Following the success of the ‘Easter Adventure’ family event earlier in 2017, OutLET: Play Resource C.I.C have been working in partnership with both Woodpark Primary School and Milton Primary School to prepare the village for the influx of fairies and elves this summer.

Children from P5 & P6 have been working hard cleaning up the community in preparation for the event and collected 32 bags of litter from the woodland walk area while Woodpark Nursery and P7 and Milton P1’s have been busy decorating lots of Fairy and Elf doors!

The ‘Fantastic Fairies and Enchanting Elves’ trail will open on Friday 30th June and run throughout the school holidays. The trail will lead through the woodland walk area of the village and down through the main street – where the fairies may even have infiltrated out local shops!

Trail sheets can be found in some of the local shops and can be printed from the OutLET: Play Resource Facebook Page and website from 28th June onwards and will be available throughout July and August.

We would like to encourage everyone to take an #Elfie on your journey and sent it to OutLET: Play Resource facebook page to be in for a chance of winning your very own fairy door!

Jackie Meager, Founder of OutLET: Play Resource said, “I am delighted to work in partnership with both schools to create this fun family event. It will be a great way to encourage families to get out and about this summer and explore our lovely village” she added “We would like to say a big thank you to all the local businesses who are onboard and helping to support this event throughout the summer!”
