Meet at Dalzell House Car Park, off Dalzell Drive, Motherwell, ML1 2SJ

Discover Dalzell Estate, a historic managed landscape for over 400 years with a wealth of treasures both in natural and built heritage. Dalzell House, the Ha-ha, the Japanese Garden and the Arboretum are all within a short stroll of each other. Venturing further into the estate reveals Lord Gavin’s Temple, St Patrick’s Cemetery and the Mausoleum.  Join the Countryside Rangers to uncover some of the secrets, who knows we might even see wildlife along the way.

Terrain:     Well-made paths, some steps and steep gradients

Maximum number of participants:     12         

Age Group:  All ages welcome, under 16s should be accompanied by an adult               

Driving and public transport directions:  Entrance to Dalzell Estate is located just past Our Lady’s High School. Follow the drive to the car park opposite Dalzell House with parking available opposite Dalzell House
