The removal of conifer tree plantations from the High Parks at Chatelherault has revealed a long forgotten landscape that has been hidden for centuries.  A small, recently cleared, promontory in the country park has hidden archaeology waiting to be discovered but we need your help to clear the remaining trees and debris to allow archaeologists to survey and investigate this intriguing site.

Dress for the weather.  Old clothes, stout footwear and work gloves recommended.   All tools and training will be provided.  Bring a packed lunch and a potato for the camp fire!

This is weekend drop-in event over Saturday and Sunday from 11am - 3pm each day - you can come along for an hour or two, or both days - every little bit of help we get will be invaluable.
